Transform the industry, sustainably
Our mission is to develop a new low-carbon iron industrial sector from hydrogen to address climate issues, reindustrialize Europe and strengthen its sovereignty.

A team committed to tranforming the industry
From strategic development to industrial implementation, our teams embody GravitHy’s ambition, expertise and vision for the decarbonization of steel and the reindustrialization of Europe.

A shared ambition
GravitHy is recognized as a Major National Industrial Project by the French government.
Winner of several programs, supported by leading investors and key institutions, our project embodies the future of low-carbon steel.

A pioneering plant for a decarbonized steel industry
We will build in Fos-sur-Mer, our first low-carbon iron production plant from hydrogen.
Frequently asked questions
GravitHy is an industrial company committed to the decarbonization of the steel industry. We are developing an innovative plant in Fos-sur-Mer (France) to produce reduced iron (DRI/HBI) from hydrogen. This iron will then be used by steelmakers, for example in their electric arc furnaces, to produce green steel.
Our mission is to enable steelmakers to transform steel production by drastically reducing CO₂ emissions, thanks to low-carbon materials and the use of low-carbon hydrogen.
Fos-sur-Mer offers a dynamic industrial ecosystem, a strategic port infrastructure, an access to competitive green and low-carbon electricity in sufficient quantity and a historical regional expertise in metallurgy and logistics.
GravitHy-Fos is located within a strategic hub for import/export, synergies with an existing industrial network, and low carbon production that meets the requirements of European markets.
By replacing coal with hydrogen in iron production, we reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 90% to 95% compared to traditional processes.
We are looking for talents passionate about innovation and energy transition, in job ranging from engineering to logistics, including industrial operations.
