A strategic step toward Europe’s Green Steel future
GravitHy has reached a major milestone in the realization of its industrial project: the reservation of land for our future plant in Fos-sur-Mer. This morning, our President José Noldin signed the land reservation agreement with the Port of Marseille Fos, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership for the development of one of Europe’s first large-scale hydrogen-based HBI production facilities.
This step is a cornerstone in our mission to build a low-carbon, sovereign, and resilient steel value chain, serving Europe’s energy transition and industrial autonomy. Together with the Port of Marseille Fos and our partners, we are shaping a new generation of green industry.
Key milestones ahead:
- Start of construction: 2027
- Start of commissioning: 2029
